What do the people of God bring to a pandemic?  Hope!

Hope through:
                             Disaster Relief. . .

In May 2020 the cluster of islands known as the Sunderban at the top of the Bay of Bengal was hit by a massive cyclone which damaged the largest of the Covenant Family Church buildings in the islands. Many local residents, most of whom live in grass-thatched huts, sheltered in the stairwell of the pastor's home, which is one of the few substantial buildings in the area.   By the grace of God all of them survived and, despite the pandemic and lockdown, the building has been repaired.   This church is a beacon of hope to the community, starting a sewing center in which widows can make clothes for sale in shops, and has stocked ponds to allow others to raise fish commercially.   The kingdom of God is all about helping people and pointing them to the love of Christ.
